ASA 101, KEELBOAT SAILING

In this introductory course, women are introduced to the fundamentals of sailing on small keelboats. Through hands-on experience, participants learn essential skills such as rigging, sail handling, steering, and basic safety procedures.

Under the guidance of experienced female instructors, women gain confidence in maneuvering the boat, understanding wind direction, and executing basic sailing maneuvers.

By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and skills to confidently captain a small keelboat in calm to moderate wind and sea conditions.

ASA 103, Basic Coastal Navigation

In this course, women delve deeper into the art of navigation, honing their skills in chart plotting, course determination, and navigation in coastal waters.

Participants learn to interpret nautical charts, identify navigational hazards, and use electronic and manual navigation tools effectively.

Through practical exercises and classroom instruction, women gain the knowledge and confidence to plan coastal passages, navigate safely in unfamiliar waters, and maintain situational awareness while underway.

ASA 104, Bareboat Cruising
